A lovely village at the mouth of the Somme river - Saint Valery sur Somme. Has great gates into the town, a well preserved church, great views of the tidal reaches of the Somme - in general a great day trip. After unpacking and getting our German shipment of household goods set up and stowed, wanderlust set in again and we took a day off to sightsee. There is also a great looking small train to ride here - we will try it in the Spring.
