Now we were under the gun - back to Oberau to be ready for the movers and pack ourselves for the return to Saint-Pol. Because it was an inter-Europe move, we selected a direct move - so we had 2 days after the truck was full to be ready for unload in France. We just had time to have a nice dinner with our friends and former landlords Terry and Valentina who were bicycling in the area. Took a day and a half to load up the truck and our car. The truck left around 1600 and we were on the road just a few minutes later. We stayed over night near Stutgart then off to Saint-Pol in the morning. We took the toll route through France to get there quickly. So you will see a few unusual photos of some of their entertaining art on the side of the autoroute. We made it in good time and were ahead of the moving truck by a day.
